How far would you go for what you believe? How would you feel if there were people who knew you were telling the truth about something, but tried to violently & verbally come against what you were saying, because it made them uncomfortable?

 

John 1:1 IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

1 John 1:1 THAT which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life

 

The disciples were still alive after Jesus died and rose from the grave. They were going out preaching & teaching about how Jesus Christ changed their lives. When something amazing happens and you have something great to offer someone else, it doesn’t come natural to keep it a secret. So those people alive during this time came against the disciples and the gospel message they offered to people. Of the 11 true disciples, all but 1 was murdered for their faith. The bible clearly shows where the disciples had confronted those trying to come against them-

Acts 2:22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—

When Paul was standing trial for preaching about Jesus, he said this to the governor & king-

Acts 26:24 For the king, before whom I also speak freely, knows these things; for I am convinced that none of these things escapes his attention, since this thing was not done in a corner..
